I’ve been pretty busy this week, so unfortunately I haven’t had that much time to work on the Organic Facebook Strategy. However, I’ve been thinking a lot about the previous Pro Partner coaching call I had with Dean, so I thought this was a good opportunity to write down my thoughts!
This coaching call I’m talking about was all about the follow-up process. As I’ve touched upon in my previous blog, the follow-up is VERY important! You should do that as much as you can and wherever you can. So not just in Facebook Messenger, but also through emails if you, for example, have an email list.
After all, once you stop following up with people they will start to forget you and they will never buy the product you’re offering.
Sometimes, it’s just not the right time for someone to buy the product that you’re offering. However, at some point, this might change and it will be the right time. They might be willing to buy your product eventually. But that will only happen if you follow-up with them!
Even though it’s not yet a priority if you’re not making a full-time income yet, it’s always good to be aware of the importance of the follow-up and what you can do 😉
What more can you do to get people to buy your product?
For the follow-up process, always ask yourself this: “What more can I do to get people to buy my product? What will tip them over the edge?”
I’ve been thinking about this question, and I have to say, I found several ways to do so. But I’m not exactly sure yet which way will suit me the best.
So, as most of you probably know by now, I’ve got myself a mentor and joined his program to learn all about affiliate marketing. And I’m so happy I did! My mentor and his team gave me much needed clarity about affiliate marketing. In order to be successful with affiliate marketing you have to understand how it works. I want to help other people to get clarity as well. For me it all started with reading the Iceberg Effect book. That’s why I’m promoting it. But what can I do more to let others know why this is a great product?
Instead of just offering the book I could keep in touch by creating a Facebook group like I wrote in a previous blog. To connect on an even more personal level I could, for example, also offer to give people my private email address when they (consider to) buy the book. Or even give my phone number. If people should have any questions before or after reading the book, I could help them work through them 🙂
As you can see, this would be a great additional incentive for someone to buy the book, which will, thus, lead to more customers!
I think this additional incentive follow-up strategy is definitely something that I could see myself doing at some point. However, I do think it’s still a bit too early for that. I might start doing some of those things later on, when I will have more time (the Holidays are just way too busy with the work I need to do for my webshop).
After all, if I do something like that, I would really like to be able to take the time to answer possible questions thoroughly 🙂
Get more customers to buy your high ticket offers
Once you’re making an income using affiliate marketing, you still need to focus on following up with people, but now in a slightly different way. At this point, you need to start thinking about what more you can do for the customers you already have.
You know what they say: the money is in the list!
The key to running any subscription or recurring revenue business is successfully making the shift in mindset from acquiring new customers to retaining, nurturing, and growing existing customers
You don’t need to do anything more to get these people to become your customer, they already are, and they’re already on your email list. What you now want is that they buy your high ticket offers. But make sure you only offer products that you genuine believe will benefit your customers.
So you need to think of a way to get more of your customers to buy these high ticket offers and for that, they need an incentive. The good thing is, that you can send them all kinds of emails for free now that they’re on your list!
For example, you could create a little video follow-up campaign in which you show the product that you’re offering and how it has helped you. This will make your story much more credible and will tip more people over the edge and buy your high ticket products!
However, I’m not really sure yet if such a video campaign is the way to go for me… I have to say that I’m not really comfortable speaking and standing in front of a camera… But I might just create an animated video or something!
This is definitely still future talk, so who knows, I might come up with an even better idea!
