How to Make People Want to Buy Your Product

Problem Solution

Hi there!

Welcome back šŸ™‚

Over the last month I have been working on consistently applying the organic traffic strategy that I talked about the last time you heard from me. So just to quickly recap: I found potential prospects using Deanā€™s strategy, but held conversations with these people according to Jamesā€™s strategy. And it actually works!!

More people are responding to my messages and I also made sales (even some upsells)!

So I couldnā€™t be happier šŸ™‚

Itā€™s a lot of fun to get to know all kinds of like minded people but itā€™s even better when I can actually help them with something.

Tailor your solution to your prospects needs

You may ask yourself: ā€œBut how do I find out if what Iā€™m offering can actually help someone?ā€. Well, thatā€™s really not that hard!

You just need to tailor your solution to your prospects’ needs.

In my case, the Iceberg Effect book offers a very broad area of information. It explains things such as the 4 core areas of focus (Traffic – Capture – Follow up – Making offers, which I will write a blot about later) but also things like a sales funnel and the most powerful word in affiliate marketing (FREE!).

And because there are so many subjects in the book, I can easily pick the subject that would resonate most with the person Iā€™m currently talking to.

So you really have to uncover a generic struggle someone might have and make it more specific. Because that way, you can tailor your solution to them and help them even better!

Make people want your product

But thatā€™s not all! You also really have to make people realise that your product can help them. Thatā€™s how you can make them want your product šŸ˜‰

Hereā€™s how you could do that:
– First you make some light conversation with them and uncover their struggle (really get to know them!)
– Then you make their struggle more specific
– The next step is that you relate their struggle to your product and try to find your angle for how your product can help that person
– Then you explain in your own words what a solution to their struggle could be
– And lastly, you tell them that the product youā€™re promoting would provide that solution in an even better way and ask them if they would be interested in it

This way, thereā€™s a very good chance that someone will say yes to your question! After all, you just made them realise that your product can provide a great solution to the problem theyā€™re struggling with.

Sell the problem you solve, not the productĀ

So if you would like to use this traffic strategy as well, really think about what different ways your product could offer a solution to someone!

Just remember that there are two types of people: (1) people who are aware of their issue (and will share it with you without too much prompting), and (2) people who are unaware or in denial about their issue. This second type of people takes more time to open up and will take more probing in order to uncover an issue they might have (or they simply really donā€™t have an issue). Probing questions are very important!

Let me know what your thoughts are on how you can tailor your product to your prospect.

Until next time!

Sandra

You seriously are one of the best bloggers I have come across. Now coming to my question, is Commission Junction legal or illegal? The website of Commission junction is banned by the Indian government. Please do revert back.

Hi Radha, thank you so much for your nice compliment (-:
Regarding your question: Commission Junction is one of the platforms that brings advertisers (companies with products or services) and publishers (people who want to promote those products or services) together. As an affiliate marketeer your are a publisher. You promote other people products or of services and earn a commission doing so. That’s how affiliate marketing works and that system is legal. If specific Commission Junction is doing this in a legal way is not up to me. Just realize there are a lot of platforms where you can find things to promote. For example Clickbank or JVZoo I know people are using, but you can search on Google to find more. Just use common sense. Read reviews. Try it out.
Wish you all the best!
